First Generation Evo (pics)
WOW! Thats really clean. So what do you buy parts for 1st gen 6 bolt for motor parts?
Most of the parts are bought right here in the Bahamas. Seeing the JDM cars have become very popular here within the past 5 years (and even more so recently) a number of places carry the JDM parts or there are tons of places you can order them online and have them flown in in about a week from Japan...Well, they have to be sent to a U.S address, and then flown over here, but not a problem. So far so good with parts for me...I had to change the driver side engine mount and didn't have a problem with finding it
Sweet looking car krish, i have a soft spot for the 1st gen CX9A chassis too. Back home i used to have a Lancer GSR and a Evo II. It really is amazing how the cars have 'evolved' :-)
Very nice indeed......the interior is awesome for a 93.....and the engine bay is just as clean, but I think you stole it for that price..$6500....sell one to me for that price, or even 2...where do I send the cash?
Thanks for the replies everyone!!! Glad you guys like "old school"
The car is an EVO I by the chasis number, but I guess the previous owner liked the EVO III body kit so he put it on. As for the price, believe it or not, you can buy them for $5,000 in Japan. The car came from here http://www.hasnihon.com/ You'll have to sign up (for free) to view the cars, but just look at some of the prices. Some are in good shape while others not so well.
Here is a place to convert the Yen to USD http://www.oanda.com/converter/classic?user=easysurf I've seen RX-7 TT for under $4000 and 300 zx's for under $2,000. There are also a few other sites I frequent as well. This site you can look at one pic ofmost of the cars without signing up, but you will need to sign up to view all of the cars and see all the pics. Some nice Evo's here

Thanks again for the nice comments!
