I just did this install on Thursday and can tell you that it looks fantastic. The lighting of the gauges (when swtichewd to green) matches all the other interior lighting in the car perfectly. They also look great during the day with the lighting off. Someone had complained about calibration issues a while back but while doing my install, I perfectly aligned them and then checked the speedy and the tach which are both dead on throughout the range. Installation time was minimal and effort required was also minimal. Well worth the $100 and the 3 hours!

As to looking "rice", not a chance. I have and have had lots of very high end cars and these gauges just look good. The stock cluster looks "cheese" by comparison but each to their own!

The only grip I have now that it is all done is that the LCD display in the tach is the only thing in the car that still lights up orange...oh well.

Two thumbs up for Trustz and his gauge mod!

I used to have similar gauges on my dsm and I used to get nothing but compliments from everyone, friends with M3's, Audi's, young kids, old dudes, moms, grandmas. They aren't rice, they just seem ricey because they don't add any power.

I agree. I love my trustz gauges. I can actually read them at night. Looks much classier. The stock ones look cheap IMO.
