Alrighty, this is a call out to all of us IX owners that want a true debadge front IX.

The issue here is that the stock mesh that comes on the IX has a vertical hole to allow the screw to fit through the mesh to mount the Mitsu symbol. However, after talking with fellow IX owners, (one in particular), he said that there doesn't appear to be a vendor out there that makes a replica of the IX front mesh that fits.

Buying the intercooler mesh doesn't work because it's too narrow.

So, this is a call out to all the IX owners that would be interested in buying a mesh for your car that would be a direct replica of what comes stock, with the exception of the hole that is left after removing your badge.

I want to completely debadge the front of my car, but I think it will look goofy on there with gaping hole staring at me through the mesh (it would bother the hell out of me too)

Anyone else interested in this? Any vendor interested in taking on the task of producing something like this???

 

Depending on the price I would buy a replacement.
