I painted my front emblem flat black. It looks pretty good, but still not as nice as having no emblem at all...

EDIT - how does one go about replacing that grille anyways? Is it necessary to remove front bumper?

 

Update on Status?!

Foggy, to answer your question, yes, it does require removal of the front bumper.

I have pictures that I took (Closer Pictures) of what the mesh now looks like now that I've removed the emblem and dremeled off the bracket which holds the emblem in place.

I'll post those up.

Unfortunately it's not just the mesh that comes off, there are brackets that the mesh is welded to, so the process of getting this done might be a little more involved than I thought.
