Your cars do look nice for an enthusiast but are nowhere near show circuit level. My project cars were drop dead gorgeous and even then I knew better than to expect getting placed. Luckily I did get an honorable mention for my G35 coupe but that thing had ***** to the walls custom mods for both show and go.
It's way too hard to be noticed even in the mild class in this day and age because of the wealth of information on the web. People can make pretty clean and elaborate fiberglass sub/amp/nitrous bottle enclosures in just a few weeks through trial and error. Engine bays can be cleaned up in a matter of a few days of slow and careful rerouting. You're off to a good start but you need to follow the proper steps to get you to your goal.
Maxing out your credit cards for a show isn't worth it though. Even if you're able to pay off the debt within a few months, you might run across something that's useful and you really like that you could afford if it wasn't for your maxed out credit cards. You're loaded and don't give two ***** about my opinion but you're pulling in well over 6 digits a year you say? Great, super, wonderful; just use the money wisely though.
Great start though once again but like everyone has mentioned; couldn't you have spent just a little more money while you're at it or not get some bling bling useless part to drop the car a bit? I love my Evo too but the front end 4x4 stance that works for daily driving won't work at car shows.

I love both of your cars. I believe they are both winners. If you want HIN to appreciate them as you do then for the shows put huge crazy decals that you'd have to be crazy to daily commute with down the sides then you will see your trophies

Absolutley agree with what you said about not being a part of a team. Around here it's TEAM EMOTION, If your not part of that team, it's no bets, even though my Evo is hotter than most of the ones they have & makes more power........... I do it for me !!!!!!!!!!

I saw you there. There were only three Evos at the whole show and yours was my favorite by far. One was gold and the other had flowers on it. Yours shold have got a trophy in my book.

I was at HIN Boston I've come to the conclusion that they support no more than ***** and rice. It's not my scene and I think it has a negative impact on what most of us are trying to do.
