Painted Tails (56k get out)

more pics on page 2

**edit**

I recently had my taillights custom painted by a local guy who does these as a side
job. He was able to send me photoshop images of what my tails would look
like, and worked with me to come up with a design I really liked, before
anything was painted.

I'm really happy with how everything turned out. Several layers of
clearcoat were added to insure the color won't fade, and that the paint will
be resistant to rock chips and bad (MI) weather.

I've also pictured my evo next to his intrepid that he also did. For the
quality of work here this cost almost nothing!

If you're interested in having him do your taillights, contact him by e-mail
at halzazz@hotmail.com

Enjoy!

Hopefully the cops dont profile you as bad as they do here in Portland. I have a feeling they would pull me over with something like that.

I have my windows tinted but only 50%. It seems like cops around here give way more tickets for tint to black cars than anything else. I had 20% tint on my satin silver RSX and never got bothered once. My friend has a black lincoln zepher with 20% tint and got two tickets in two weeks

I purposely asked for the paint to be light enough to see the red behind the lense even without direct sunlight. I think the fact that it is obviously translucent, and that the indicator sliver is so bright, that the cops have left me alone. (**knock on wood**)

These aren't really blacked out. If you look closely, the level is probably about 40-50%. You can request the level of shading and he can show you what it will look like in photoshop. This was exactly how I wanted it to turn out.

... I'm still keeping my fingers crossed with the cops
