Hi,
I am contemplating putting my stock wing back on my CF trunk, but I have a concern. I know the stock wing puts down quite a bit of downforce, and obviously gets greater at higher speeds. I'm just wondering if anyone who is running the CF trunk and stock wing combo have had any problems with their trunk not being able to handle the stress from downforce and cracking? I did a search and didn't quite come up with an answer nor have I heard of any problems relating to this. I know some BMW guys running this combo have had their trunks crack which is why I am worrying. Thanks in advance .

 

I had mine on for 6 months or so no issue's....Looks good I love mine!

 

Mine is Seibon Trunk, no problem w/stock wing, no need to worry!

 

I've had my stock wing on my carbon fiber trunk for about 6 or 8 months now and haven't had any problems whatsoever on downforce issues. hope this kinda helps ya out.
