Im not sure if my stock exhaust has a leak. Judge for yourself.

Turbo Back Exhaust. Basically replacing all the stock exhaust parts from the turbo backwards. Usually refers to aftermarket downpipe, high flow cat (HFC)/test pipe and axel back exhaust.

pics are always helpful. LOL

That last picture is an 02 housing. I'm sure he didn't know what it is. That the piece that connects to your turbo and downpipe.

Bruno nice job on the finding pics and helping a newbie out, I know lots of other would of yelled search but kudos for taking the time to help him out.

As far as a turbo back goes though, If you have a warranty you can kiss it good bye, i would say get a catback with a highflowcat and you'll be good..

Thanks, no problem. Everyone was a Newbie at one time, not a big deal.

I wanted to comment on the warrenty statement. I personally would not worry about losing your warrenty to a turboback exhaust. For example, if your transfer case starts whining really bad then basically dies, the TBE did not have any direct relation to the transfer case problem. This is just coming from my experience with Mitsu dealerships and there warrenty repair claim process. I have successfully gotten my transfer case replaced, tranny re-built, and a new clutch installed for free by Mitsu under warrenty. My mods at the time were TBE, Intake, Manual Boost Controller and a Flash. So that's just my opinion

Yeah it depends on the dealer as well. A few of the ones around here seem to have no problem with TBE and even more mods. Just check around with other owners who have the same dealer and find out first though .

seriously thank you guys especially you Bruno

so lemme review

A catback system only replaces the stock downpipe and exhaust
and a turbo back connects the whole "catback system" to the engine's turbo?

like that?
