Best Wax

My TB IX will be arriving on monday (hopefully), and I am anticipating a very dirty mess when it gets here. So, I'm going to give it a good wash and wax but I'm not sure what wax is the best for our factory paint. I want something with some good longevity and excellent protection. I was between Meguiars Gold class liquid or Meguiars NXT generation liquid. I also was unsure about what is better the clay or the liquid. Any opinions or expiriences would be much appreciated.

p.s. I have always used NuFinish.

wax and longevity dont belong together. Unless you call a couple of weeks to a month long. Get a sealant. Meguiars gold class and NXT wont last more than 2 weeks.

I also use Meguiars but not those two that you mentioned. use it every time i wash my car. Then after that I use Meguiars Quick spray detailer. Love the new car smell.

I recommend Zaino. A little more work, the results are worth it though.

NXT offers decent protection and even after a few months I still have a good bead when the water hits it.

I also use it on my girls car and she drives through those abrasive $4 car washes and she still has a good bead after 2 months.

As far as shine, Zaino!

Zaino is good, but a pain. You can get equal results with other products that aren't as difficult. Check out www.autotopia.org and their product review section.

Have you tried anything else to say Zaino is the best...because its not. It works good but if want good products Klasse, Poorboys, Menzerna work very well also. Also layering a syntethic wax under a carnauba will give shine that is undescribable. I would reccomend Menzerna if you want the best, but I would do a good polish or atleast AIO to get all the crap off that comes from the factory.

Cost, longevity, and the fact that Zaino does not leave a film on plastic trim all factor in to why I think its the best choice for my car. I love all the Zaino hate.

Best wax? Zymol Concours or Pinnacle Souveran. But best wax is an opinion based question...all the aforementioned waxes/sealants are lesser than these though .
