Espelir Downpipe on IX GSR sorry 56kers

This is the Espelir downpipe installed on a 2006 Evo IX GSR. I thought I would take some pictures to show the fitiment how it clears the transfer case, oil pan and tie bars. This DP is also sub $200, it is not 3" in diameter but the but dyno feels that the spoolup is much faster than stock. Total time to install was less than an hour. Enjoy.

That first pic looks awfully close O: I just picked up an Espelir cat-back and thinking about shooting for the dp. Do you have a full turboback now or just the dp?

The smaller DP's help with the low end. Bigger DP's help out with the top end. Most of us 9 guys need the 2.75 for the clearance issues.

Where did you pick up the Espelir DP, I have heard of people having a hard time finding them...

Im pretty sure a couple evoM vendors have them. I use the same DP on my IX, I can confirm, no fit issues at all

As for 2.75" and 3". I hardly doubt you will see a difference in the two in power, I'm guessing the 2.75" unit can support 400whp+ on a mustang. If the rest of your system is 3" there should be no issues

like I said the Butt dyno feels a differance.

A-spec and yes it took me two months to finally get one, but it was worth the wait.

yes it seems to spool much quicker and Hawaii is wonderful, there are plenty of twisty "mountain" roads.
