What to do about exhaust fitment.

I just mated a Tanabe DP, Perrin TP, and Megan catback beneath my Evo. The fitment of the muffler is really tight. It doesn't just hang down at rest, it pulls hard to the right on the rubber hangers. The exhaust tip itself is at the correct elevation but about an inch and a half off to the right, which puts it about 1/4 inch from touching the bumper. The hanger on the muffler is correct, and sits properly by itself. But when I screw in the hanger on the midpipe, it pulls the whole muffler backwards and to the right.

What exactly can I do to remedy this? Am I looking at bending the hangers, welding bigger hanger mounts onto the exhaust, etc? Has anyone else had this problem?

Would appreciate any input.
Thanks

Sounds like you might just need custom hangers. A muffler shop can do it for you by welding hangers on your muffler and it should sit fine.

Use washers above the hanger on the canister until you get the fitment you want.
