My evo8 wheel is wearing down on the left side, which is where i place my hand when shifting and when i turn i shift and keep my hand somewhere on the left side.

the leather is wearing away it seems, the whole wheel is leather right? not just the perferated top part?

I was wondering what you guys do to stop wear or reduce it's appearance once it sets in.

 

Mine is doin the same dude...just try not to put ur hand there anymore

 

I HAVE TO WHEN I SHIFT. lmao dam u mitsu. i used meguires' leather cleaner and it looks and feels nicer.

 

get a new one.... ask the people who got aftermarket ones you might get it for cheap ! gl
