i duno if you've seen pics of my evo, i've been doin car shows for years. i have yet to win any trophies haha..

i used to be into car shows last summer before i got my evo, now that i got it i havent even bothered entering any because im basically stock besides painted stock wheels and lights, gauges and piping under the hood. So last import wars i ended up not racing but like i said didnt bother entering the car show because i figured i had no chance at winning anything. Later come to find out a stock red evo shows up with an indash tv and walmart subs and takes home a trophy!! that severly pissed me off because that could have been me for nothing! he had his hood popped the whole time and it was completly stock not one thing changed and it was an VIII base too. Next show that rolls around im going to enter it for the hell of it and see where i wind up but i dont see how somthing like that can take trophys home when he spent like $300 on mods!?

 

 

Mitsubishi spends a lot of money to make cars appealing to as many of its target audience members as possible. If the judges don't know what a car looks like stock, one would think the stock modeling has the greatest chance of appealing to the greatest number of judges.
