Well maybe but I am not touching it I like the way it is easy to read and its metric very DSM I am happy.

That red on white looks a heck of a lot easier to read. THough I'd be happy if they just put three lights on windshield and removed everything else.

A shift light.
The motor is toast light - Shut it off.
A you're speeding light, slow it down. - this might be tricky.

All the rest of the guages can go away, They only dsitract you from the scenery.

the jap spec. evo 8 has an adjustable center diff. that you can adjust with the flick of a switch .and yes it does say tarmac ,grvel and snow.most evo enthusias know this kind of stuff in and out.didn't u see the evo 8 testing videos on the track in japan sweet

If you are talking about the three vertical lights in the RPM dial area lower right it says HIGH,MID,LOW the LEDS top to bottom are RED,Yellow,Green

Exactly. None of the gaugesd give you shoft points AFAIK (thats a new age STi thing..its actually pretty corny if you ask me...it beeps at lights up, reminds me of my brothers FC3S and my old 944...we disabled both features!).

The lights on teh meter console that are inactive is just as Lou said....they are to indicate the different settings you can use for the ACD, a feature we don't get.

And Lou, it JDM, not DSM unless I am missing out ona new term!)
