EVO VIII UK BADGE. Whats the difference...

My question is what is the difference between the "EVOLUTION VIII" badge sold on lancershop.com and the ones sold on ebay between $25 and $60. From the pictures they look the same.

Can anyone that got theirs from ebay and are happy with its quality tell me which vendor they got theirs from?

I just don't see sense in spending $80 on something like this. Also, pictures would be great too if you have them.

Thanks,
Tyler

I've got the ebay one sitting right in front of me right now...prob gonna put it on tomorrow.

The real one is better quality and has more of a 3-dimensional look to it because its thicker...

Ebay one is more of a plastic sticker but it does still have some depth to it.

When they are on the car you can't tell the difference until you are close, so might as well save yourself the $50 unless you want the real Mitsu part.

well.. Mine is IX Uk badge.I got it on lancershop. From what i've heard from the others members UK badge bought from Ebay usually is like just a aluminum foil with 2 side adhesive put on. "you get what you paid for."

i bought the ebay ones and they r really bad looking on the car. the chrome doesnt match the mitsubishi trunk badge. so i decided not to put them on.

its basically a plastic sticker and lacks of chrome.

i bought the my car and it had the ebay evo 8 badge..... i didnt really like it so i took it off. then i liked it..so... i bought the one from lancershop.com and it was the exact same thing. and i have both of them still to compare they are the same damn thing. i cant tell the diff. from up close or in my hands holding them side by side.
buy ebay its cheaper and youll get it faster too. lancershop took like a month to get it.

I decided to post this here because this is where we talk about things not related to performance.

Anyways, now I am all mixed up. Some people are saying that the lancershop one and the ebay one are the same, and some people are saying that the lancershop one is better. I read this thread already, https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...ght=ebay+badge

Is there a way to go straight to the source? Can you order one from the actual dealership in the UK? If so, how do you contact someone about this?

From what vendor have people been buying the badges that are high quality?

Can't you just look at the construction/fabrication of the two and see for yourself? I mean, poor quality is usually pretty noticable when you look closely.

No I cannot see the difference off of internet pictures that do not very close to the decal, thats why I'm asking.

Does anyone have anything else useful to offer? I know there are a lot of evo owners out there that have been concerned with this at one point or another.

I have the silver Ebay badge.

It's only "okay" in quality but I don't think any of the "real" UK badges are better. In fact I'd guess they're all the same knock offs.
