Now here is the proof to all those other doubters out there about Mitsubishi reliability. All you have to do is treat your car right and it will reward you back with miles and miles of fun.
By the way nice universal EVOLUTION emblem in the back...a car evolving to mimic it's new iteration with no indication of its sequence.

Very clean car. Nice work taking care of her. Love the historical photo sequence. Good stuff. Keeping her till you run it into the ground?

Very nice. Car looks great. I'm curious what other performance mods do you have? When you replaced the clutch did you go aftermarket? Have you changed the exhaust? Tuned? Suspension?

Just curious.

I drive my car a lot commuting 60+ miles a day and I just had my 60K mile service that took care of the timing belt among other thing. I've had no issues at all with my car other that typical wear similar to what you mentioned. very similar in fact. I'm on my 3rd set of tires, just replaced the windshield, still on stock clutch, finally replaced the brake pads with Hawks about 6K miles ago.

I have kept my car totally stock except for what's in my sig. and it has never seen the track. The big reason I haven't modded yet is because when I got my car it was when Mitsubishi was offering the 10yr/100K mile warranty so I have that. Only thing I had to use the warranty on was having my wing replaced/repaired. So far so good. I know a lot of people will never let the dealership touch their cars, and many times that's understandable. But I have had the dealer do the scheduled service on mine every 5K miles. That is part of keeping my 100K mile warranty and I figure with the amount of driving I do it will be helpful if something goes wrong.

Bottom line is that without extensive mods and proper scheduled maintenance the evo is a very reliable car. I've been pleased so far.

And lastly, I LOVE the wheels. Those are on my wish list and I'm stashing away pennies so I can get a set.

Congrats

Yes, I'll keep it running till it drops.. I may even have the engine rebuilt when the time comes
