CR-Kai's Installed! 18x9.5 staggered offset(no 56k) *MORE PICS*

*******edit********

new pics on page 4

******************

After over three months of waiting, my rims finally arrived. This wouldn't have been a problem if demand for Work CR Kai rims in gunmetal with 18x9.5 +20 offset didn't shoot up in demand thanks to Evo-L's previous setup (Evo-L's GG Evo w/CR Kai's)

Thanks to Francis from A-SPEC and Jim from Work Wheels USA for dealing with my annoying phone calls, PM's, and e-mails over the past three months. Francis really helped my decision of getting a staggered +20front/+30 rear offset with 245/40/18 tires . At current ride height I have no rubbing issues, and I haven't rolled my fenders.

SETUP
Rims: Work Emotion CR Kai 18x9.5 (gunmetal)
Rims Offset: +20 front/+30 rear
Tires: Falken RT-615 245/40/18
Suspension: Megan Track Series Coilovers
Lugs: Rays Duraluminum (black, short, closed)
Fenders: Untouched
Spacers: Not needed

Now to the pics! (eventually I'll get some pics with tire shine, and a washed evo )

This was nice to come home to

+20 on the left, + 30on the right

+30 in the front, + 20 in the rear

mounted

very light!

I painted the Work aluminum valve stems to a flat black (they were blue originally)

alright, enough teasing (yes, this was a meijer parking lot )

what do you think?

Wow, those look really good. Makes me wish this fitment guide was out when I purchased mine a year ago.

Had I known this size would fit, I would of bought these rather than the 8.5 I do have.

very nice. do you think the staggered offset will effect your AWD system negatively? Handling? etc?

I'm running staggered to avoid rubbing and fitment issues. The +20s clear the calipers in the front and rear but you have to roll the fenders in the rear no matter what tire size you run.

+30s don't require rolling in the rear depending on your tire size and drop, but they require a spacer in the front to clear the calipers.

Damn work blocking photobucket, I can't see any of the pics. I'll be getting these wheels soon on my Mustang, hopefully the first set ever on a stang. 18x9.5 +20 all around but 275's instead of the baby tires you guys run... lol j/k.

How much do the wheels weigh? (again, can't see the pic)

As far as I know there shouldn't be any issues with the AWD system from the staggered offset. I've read about others on evoM running a staggered offeset with different rims, and not having any issues.

Looking good!
Do you think you could squeeze 265 or 275's on there?
