now I'm comtemplating if I should paint the chrome part gloss or flat black and if I should attempt to paint the JDM turning signal on the bottom or not with the tamiya clear orange TS-73

Looks nice. If you do decide to paint the unit, I like the gloss black look better with the JDM turn signal on the bottom being orange/amber.

where did you get the purple lens? also im not sure if the tamiya paint will take the heat inside the headlight housing...

U just made a horrible mistake. Not to bomb on you but I did that on my old ride and cops harrass the **** out of you cause it definitly messes with the color of your lighting. Think rainbow bulbs X 10 and its a pain to get off. I'd remove it while you still have the light out.

will do and not at all, once the front lense is off theres 2 philip screws to unscrew a chrome frame.

funny story, I found busted ebay projector headlights from a civic like a few years ago on the side of the road with angel eyes and these projectors, luckily I decided to keep them lol, perfect fit *phew*

I do live in Florida, they are more forgiving...I think. Do you have a pic of the HID's on with the purple lense?

LOL...yeah the cops thing is definitely a mistake, but ya know what the bigger mistake is?
