Anyone have a clear bra in So Cal?
i'm in need of a clear bra out here in so cal so i dont destroy my paint at willow or button willow. i know 3m sells it but it looks like a ***** to install. anyone have one professionally installed?
Why dont you just buy and use the Blue Painter's Tape?
It takes 10 mins to install and 3 mins to remove. Works like a champ!
Of course you just need to cover your front bumper.

oh i didnt see that thanks..... anyone have one who thinks it was a waste or thinks its great?? i've only talked to one person and he thought i was out of my mind that my paint was getting scratched up from rubber hitting the hood and bumper and sideskirts...... he had the 3m bra
I have a clear bra on my car. I had it installed at Starshield Armor in Irwindale. The kit has really good coverage and the installation was flawless. Plus your car has year round protection from rocks unlike painters tape.

how long have you had it? how does it looks as far as stock paint job? has it peeled up from chips, like if you pull a knife sideways across a sticker? looks like they are just installers of the 3M bra right? thanks for the info man
As far as the appearance, if it's done right it is unnoticeable unless you are upclose to the car.
The film is thick so it is not going to peel easily, the only place it would peel is at the edges and again that is all in the installation.
They are far from just installers. They manufacture and design their own kits and install by appointment at their HQ and also train installers. In fact, they are a OE supplier to Monaco Coaches (RV builder) and Lotus N/A on the Lotus Elise.
The coverage on the Evo is great and includes the front bumper, front lip, front area of the hood, A pillars, door mirrors, sheetmetal above the windshield, door edges, side skirts and the top of the rear bumper.
I did my homework before choosing a comapny 3M and Avery make the film but each company and the coverage they offer is different. Hope that helps, good luck .
