wingless adhesive question

I just took my wing off and i cant seem to get off all of the adhesive off of the trunk. There is no foam stuck to the car but just a thin layer for the double sided tape that feels rock solid when i scrape at it with my nail. I tried using goo gone and it didnt work and i tried to clay bar it and that didnt help either. Does anyone else have any suggestions? Thanks

YEa i dont you. I have to try the hair dryer trick. It doesnt want to peel off at all though. When i try to scrape with my nail it feels like it is completely solid. Ill try to get a picture of it up later to see what you guys think. thanks

I used spray wax and it came off pretty easily. But my car was still fairly new when I took the wing off.

Brake cleaner works well too. Just don't leave it on the paint!
