None of that is important. You're missing the entire point. The Keds statement is an example - a metaphor if you will - to hopefully get you out of your shell, but it's not working.

I said the fact that I don't wear Keds disproves nothing. I don't have to have any facts to make that statement. The truth is that the fact I don't wear Keds disproves nothing just like the fact you don't do this to your car disproves nothing.

Perceived realities are every bit as much real as ones proven by fact. It is not possible to phsycially determine if a certain racial group prefers these types of rims just as it is not possible to determine if the majority of Keds owners are white. The point is that it's commonly accepted as fact based off the overhwelming number of occurences, and it doesn't matter if one person doesn't participate in the stereotypical behavior.

And every pound of additional rotating mass is equivalent to 8lbs of added weight to the car itself. On top of that, a 20" diameter rim pushes most of that mass far away from the hub, which further decreases performance and potentially damages the diffs.

Just having wheels, heavy as those, you have to spend more to make it faster... Just remember I'm not bashing on your car or the style, just giving you some feedback that might help. Yeah and every 1lb extra on each wheel equals about 16lbs in static weight (considering 4 wheels). So lets say those chrome 20s are 7lbs over stock would mean about 112lbs of static weight.

I'm more interested in the mathematical evidence for these figures than statistical evidence supporting racial stereotypes. I remember studying rotational kinematics, and raw conversion factors like this never appeared. Seems like an old husbands tale to me.

WOW!.... Learning helps.

I can't say that websites are the best resources, but I'm pretty sure you can hit a local library and find out what stereotype falls into. "knowing is half the battle!"

Holy cow!

How did you put 18's on an RS you are a god, most people have a hard time fitting them. That car was hot looking.

It looks like most people on this forum were waiting for somebody to put 20s on an evo, just so they could e-thug them.

As you can tell by the posts here most of the people on the forum are real racecar drivers that know what should be put on an evo. Their cars are for the track and they know 20's would hurt performance, most people would not know that, but here on evom we, sorry they, know that. thank god.

It's hard out here for pimp.

It's amazing that ONE of his rims costs more than my ENTIRE race rim set:
