Go for the OEM leather, I've sat in both Evos and Lancers, the Lancer OEM leather shift know feels better IMO, and its lower than a stock metal Evo one

I didn't realize there was a leather OEM one- that is probably the way to go. Thats in the normal Lancer? (not the evo?)

A wrist band may be my cheaper immediate option lol.

the OEM 8's (and somebody correct me if im wrong) are leather... ALL lancers have a leather one as sock. It's hit or miss with some people, they say they dont like it, others prefer it over aftermarket. I like the feel of the stock one and save 20-50 bucks not buying a replacement!

**edit** I think also the OEM Evo leather shift knobs are litteraly a ball where as the Lancer ones are wider on one side, they feel better. IMO

evo one is a ball, lancer one is the upside down boot looking one (contours to your hand).

I have the Greddy countershift and it gets hot as hell during summer. I put a beanie over it until its cools down.

I'm sure there is one, but I can't seem to find it?? Leather wrapped, even a plastic coating or something to keep the thing cool.
