Shift Knob That isn't metal

Anyone seen a decent shift knob that isn't metal? I've got a IX mr and the stock knob gets so bloody hot that I can hardly hold on to it.
I'm sure there is one, but I can't seem to find it?? Leather wrapped, even a plastic coating or something to keep the thing cool.

I have a urethane RalliArt knob on my MR and it usually stays pretty cool. I think they have them on Lancershop.com

I can't say for sure but I think that a titanium knobber wouldn't get as hot.

Any interference with the MR's reverse lockout thingy? That looks like a good buy!

I didn't think of either of those materials- I'll imagine the titanium still would get hot since its a metal (its the sun cooking mine!), but I don't know either. Urethane is just a type of plastic right? That should be fine.

thanks for the info!

Why dont you just cover it with something when its parked, like a soft sunglass case or something so sun doesnt hit it directly? That would be hella cheap compared to a brand new shift knob
