i like to try a lot of different products because i have never exactly found that "miracle product".

so you can say i'm always experimenting.

For car wash i like the "Kit" carnuba car wash. it smells great and usually foams up nice....Maguires Soft Gel is also good

Wax- i usually use a different wax every time. There are so many out there and i haven't found one that i realy think stands out from the rest yet. The last wax i used was Maguires Tech Wax and overall i think it's a pretty good product.
IMO they all look good at first, but to me a good wax is one that lasts........and i have yet to find that one........

I don't use wheel cleaner.......just whats in the wash bucket with a different rag......

Windex for the glass.....

Lots of Quick Detailer. I have been using Adams Quick Detail Spray for a while now and i'm very happy with it.

For tires i use Adams VRT. Very nice product.

other than that.........nothign special..........just a lot of microfiber towels and patience.......

i've never used Zaino, but i've read tons of great reviews on it......my problem is, the "Zaino Process" seems to be an all day event......and for me, being that i work 6 days a week........i don't have that kind of time........

i'm curious to hear other replies as well........

2 Buckets (1 for the car and 1 for the rims)

Wash the rims first

Meguires All Purpose On The Rims and Tires
---I use a scrub brush for the tires
---A sheep skin wash mitt for the rims
---A long brush to get inside the rims
---Jack the car up and use a seperate wool wash mitt for the wheel wells

Wash the body of the car second
---Meguires NXT Car Wash Soap
---Sheep skin wash mit
---Dry with a california water blade
---Dry with a Shamonie (Spelling is wrong sorry)
---Dry with an air compressor

Meguires Clay Bar

Use Painters tape to tape off all of the black trim

Porta Cable 7424 will become your new best friend

Meguires Compound with orange pad

---Wash The Car AGAIN after compound----

Poorboys SSR 2.5 swirl remover with a wool pad

Poorboys Polish with a white pad

Poorboys EX-P with a white pad

Poorboys Natty Blue Wax by hand

Black Magic tire shine (Wiped down after 5 minutes to avoid spraying off on the paint)

Meguires NXT Glass Cleaner

Vacumm inside

All purpose the inside to get any dirt/dust off of panels

And there is a few more steps inbetween but that is the basic gist of it.

I do not but the guy who posted the thread does and it seams to work great for him. I'm sure if you asked him, he could help you out.

I use what's in the garage...but typically that includes Mothers or Maguires (sp?) products from waxes, polishes, swirl remover, car soap....the works.

Wondering if these types of post would interests any of you.

This was a treat a 2006 Lapis Blue C2S. This was a full detail. (sorry no interior shots forgot to take them) The car was in good shape but as you will see there are swirls and imperfections. Interior was in great shape need a nice vacuum, leather cleaning/conditioning and wipe down.

Products Used:
Adam's Car Wash
Adam's Clay Bar with Adam's Detail Spray as lube
Adam's VRT
Adam's Glass Cleaner
Adam's Undercarriage
Adam's Metal 1 and Metal 2
P21S Wheel Cleaner Gel
P21S Autowash
Menzerna 106FA
Swissvax Cleaner Fluid
Swissvax Concorso
Einszett Leathercare
Einszett Cockpit
Einszett Detail Spray

Tools:
3m Sun Gun
Brinkman Xenon Portable
Metabo 12-175
Tons of towels

Procedure:
Exterior:
1. Rinsed down the wheels (they were cool enough to touch)
2. Sprayed down the wheels with some P21S Wheel Cleaner
3. Sprayed down the wheel wells and tires with P21S Autowash
3. Brush and cleaned the wheels and tires with a Boar's Hair Brush
4. Rinsed down the wheels, tires, and wheel wells
5. Rinse the car down
6. Used the foamgun (Adam's Car Wash) to apply soap, let it sit and then
7. Used the Shmitt to wash the car, from top to hood to sides to rear.
8. Rinse car off throughly
9. Spritz some Adam's Detail Spray on the car and dried off the car.
10. Brought the car in and proceeded to clay the car using Adam's Clay Bar and Detail Spray
11. Used the Metabo with the Menzerna 106fa to polish out all the minor imperfections. (blue pad) a few passes per panel at 1500 rpm (Metabo rotary)
12. After each section was corrected I buffed off the excess polish with a MF Buffing Towel.
13. Applied Swissvax Cleaner Fluid and removed with MF Towel (removed after you apply in small sections, you don't want this to dray up)
14. Applied Swissvax Concorso by hand and let sit for about 10-13 minutes, buffed off to a nice wet and deep shine with a MF Towel
15. Cleaned up the windows with Adam's Glass Cleaner (interior/exterior)
16. Dressed the tires with Adam's VRT
17. Dressed wheel wells with Adam's Undercarriage Spray
18. Used Adam's Detail Spray to do a final wipe down on the wheels.
19. Used the 1Z Detail Spray for a final wipe down and inspected the car.
20. Polished up the tips with Adam's Metal 1 and Metal 2.

Interior:
Vacuumed the Trunk, Dressed the covers in the trunk area.
Vacuumed the Interior
Cleaned and conditioned the Leather treated with Einszett Leathercare
Wiped down the interior (not the leather areas) with Einszett Cockpit
Wiped down the door jambs with Adam's Detail Spray
Cleaned Windows
