It is a nice piece indeed but it is as real as the carbon fiber that comes on the IX dashboard. It's carbon look, just like the Ralliart mirrors.

I installed two so far. The first one was an absolute pain. Hopefully you have a dremmel. And you'll have to rig up something instead of the stock little white clips for the back. I just used the open hole and a cotter pin to keep the cover down. You'll see what I'm talking about. The ashtray section requires the most cutting if I remember correctly. By the second install, I did a better job and found out some new techniques. Just take your time and it will go okay. Cut out sections very little at a time.
