anyone know how to put one of these bad boys in??????

I just got it, but damn, me thinks to have a hard time!!!

 

you have to cut the middle of the stock base trim console, the black plastic thing where it says LHD. u have to cut it out cause there isnt enough room for the ashtray to sit in cause its on the other side. other than that just take the white clips off the OEM peice and put it on the Ralliart peice and put it in.

 

Once you get in let me how close the pattern is the stock dash parts. If its the same I might get it also for my VIII. I have the Ralliart dash and door kit

 

I have one on and it's a pita to install. The console is wider also. Like a nick and tuck operation to get it to snug down even after triming the ashtray supports. Looks great once it's on.

It's a nice piece but I didn't feel like cutting anything on my car so I sold mine.

^ No actually It looks real to me. At worst case scenario its a layed piece but none the less I do believe thats a real weave.
