I am running 5% all around too...but mine is on a TB.
Small town with cops that I all know so, it is no biggie here.

I've been tagged twice in the same day for 30% on my front windows. I won't do it again as long as I stay in Cali

 

I haven't had a problem with cops either, I guess I'm just lucky.

The cops in my town don't really care much. I constantly see them stopping for jaywalkers/jaybikers with no helmets on. Funny thing is, they've followed my neighbor home before, he has a WW IX RS so it's weird that they watch the guy with no wing.

The town next to mine, which apparently has a lot of "mean" cops hasn't given me any trouble either *Knocks on wood*. They only get me for skating without a helmet >_<

i'd find out what the states legal tint limit is, then depending if you don't care about cops, go a little darker but not overly obvious. just my .02
