Love the wheels and tires, but the ride height looks unusually low. Is that the ride height that Robi suggested? I would think you'd be hitting the bumpstops constantly, not to mention the significant change in the relative roll centers front to back.

They took about 3 and a half months.

The car feels great. At the time of setup, Robi did rear bushings, anti-bumpsteer kit, 25mm Progress rear sway, alignment and corner-weighting. The ride is noticeably a bit more firm, but isn't harsh at all. It soaks up what it needs to and I feel everything I want to. The steering is quick and direct with good feedback. The car reacts better to smoother inputs now. No need to toss the car forcefully into a corner to get it to rotate. Turn-in is very crisp with quick edge-to-edge transfer. The ***-end works together with the front. It doesn't feel like the rear is being dragged around unwillingly. Getting over the expectation of the car to understeer and not having to be so aggressive with inputs was the biggest adjustment to driving the car with its current setup. The car feels more neutral and balanced. Dr. Fuller's the man!

Just applying more pressure with the fender rolling tool will pull it out more, but the quarters will begin to buckle. I've seen a few cars on here running aggressive offsets with the same dented quarter panel/pulled fender syndrome. Not for the squeamish.

There's plenty of room for the Evo. I had to yank it out for the pics!

Tyler … reading comprehension FTW, right? Do you ever get back to Vegas?

Ed … see you soon bro! It's been a while.

I'll end up doing a shoot and starting a new thread when it's done.

Robi set up the car last year when I was driving the car daily and doing the occasional track day on skinny 235s, so it was a street car that saw a few track days a year. When he lowered the car down off his lift, I about freaked how low it was. He said just take it for a run, and notice how the suspension still has full travel at this height. Sure enough, the car felt really good.

I drive the car a lot less now. With the wider setup, I may have to raise it a tad and run some heavier spring rates. But, I need to see how it behaves on track before any changes.

wow that is sick! 265s with a +28 offset is pretty ballsy for a DD. Looks great though! Very clean!

I'll be there for SEMA this year! I missed out on '06 due to work but I took off way early this time around.

I can't wait man, SEMA is going to be cool, but so is Vegas' pump 100oct on the new setup.

In '05 spent more on gas IN Vegas than I did getting there and back.

You could avoid the dent by shaving the corner where the fender changes from over the wheel to over the bumper. I had the same problem as you fitting my 17x9.5 +25 RG2 with 17x255x40 NTO1s. I rolled and pulled my fender, but the corner, started to fold inside and created sharp tip. It won't go anywhere anyways, so applying a lot of pressure will only cause problems. I had no choice but to shave it with a dremel, and also had to shave the bolt that holds the bumper to the body right behind the fender.

I also have Robispec clubsport KWv3. After 1st autoX, I noticed that front weels are rubbing half of the fender lip under very hard turns. Had no choice but to roll them as well. They came out good tho.. My spring rates are 8K in the front and 9K in the rear.

Anyways, your car looks sick. Very well done
