BBY dropped, new wheels & more...
It's been a few months since I've posted and I've gotten a few things done and taken a few pics since then. I'll post a few before I started this round of mods:
First, I put my BlueBat vinyl taillights on. They didn't come out perfect and were a real ***** to be honest, but I can't force myself to spend $3-400 for JDM 7 tails. I may re-do them in the future. They look great from a bit of a distance, but you can see the bubbles/wrinkles up close.
Next, I got my vortex generator on. This was a super easy install. They don't make them in BBY, I didn't want to spend $200 for a real CF one and fake CF is rice IMO, so I got flat black.
Next, I got my Tanabe GF-210 springs on. They have a great drop; not too much and not too little. With the front lip I'm pretty damn low though.
I wasn't planning on buying wheels until next spring and getting some gold Rotas, but I got a great deal on some MR BBSs. I found a local guy who delivered them to my house with 4 tires (Advan A046s; 2 new (which I am selling), 2 shot) for $800 with only one curb mark. I went with 4 Sumitomo HTR Z II tires after seeing they got great ratings on tirerack.
That's about it. No engine mods, just an HKS intake from the prior owner. Maybe I'll black out the headlights, redo the tails and detint the ugly purple tint in the rear from the prior owner as well.

i love the added vortex generator being black, although the black lip isnt quite my thing. the bbs' look good as well, and i cant tell if i love or hate the mitsubishi symbol on the front being red. i saw it black somewhere else, and they both look good, but im not sure which i prefer.
anyways, gorgeous looking car. hats off to you, sir on not going 'ricey', as i cant stand rice either.

looks great! thanks for giving me an idea. i was going in the same direction with the tanabe springs (for now) and the lip. the 9bbs rims doesnt look bad either.
yeah...im kinda mad that they dont have a bby vortex gen...i guess i have to have someone paint it for me grr
