need some help: red or blue?

Thinking about doing some appearence changes on the EVO.

I have an 03 Tarmac Black VIII, and looking to get some new wheels & repaint the calipers. (I'm rly big on color coordination so my logic is a little different). I'm pretty stuck between going with a nicer red on the calipers, and some black wheels with a red lip (which would match the brake lights). OR painting the calipers a nice blue, and getting some black wheels with a blue lip (which would entail matching the interior).

Just looking for some opinions. if someone has any type of pictures (real or photoshopped) it'd be a great help. Like I said, just looking for opinions; if you're not in the mood to answer the thread, then simply don't.

Thanks for the help in advance!

I think the black wheels with a red lip, time attack style, would look great.

I think blue is a little too flashy. Why not save some time/money and leave the brembos red and just buy a set of "time attack" wheels?

IMO, the black with the red lip looks great and they you dont even have to touch the brembos

thanks guys.

true, i won't have to bother painting them with the black w/red rims, but im looking for something more original either way.

i rly don't feel like being flamed for this question (& i know there's the search button), but which type of wheels are most recommended (& reasonably priced). I know the ROTAs rly don't get support from members on here, and I found Volks to be very nice, but kind of pricey.

if i do decide to go with blue, can someone point me in the right direction with some black w/blue rims? i've been searching, but haven't found a thing.

kinda blingy (black chrome with blue) but could possibly pull it off and definitely unique. $160 each.

I'd consider some light inexpensive wheels and powdercoating blue.

I think I still prefer Time Attack paint scheme but here are two pics of Agency Power wheels on STis.

You could contact these guys for the wheels.

According to the thread, you could purchase these wheels in size 18X8.5 +29 offsets to fit evos.

i think the time attacks are played out on the EVO. I would go for the blue w/ something original/different.

if your car is black, do the blue calipers and black with blue lip. that combo on black would be badass. the red thing is played out anyway.

dude if you go by what everyone on here says your gonna be either very thin in the pocket or just a follower. get what you want. myself im about ready to get some rotas. they look good and wont leave me broke or with a tear in my eye after it gets a chip. been there done that with my rays eurostars let me tell you it will be a pain in the *** if something messes up and then you cant buy a new wheel because they only sell them in sets of two. so think about what you want to do. sure volks are bad *** but the price just isnt really worth it if your car actually leaves your garage.
