i used ICE once. not the spray type but the one with the sponge applicator.....
the finish is actually pretty good. but it wont protect and last as long as other name brand polishes/waxes.
id say the only thing good about the ICE liquid polish is that it's ridiculously slippery after it's been applied (freeeeekin awesome) and that it gives you a quick shine for merely a couple of days.
so

at the same time

Well.... a lot of mix reviews- more on the bad side... but its too late now
i already got the ICE car Wash and Liquid polish...
and i take it that the liquid polish doesnt act as a wax too ... darn!
Im new to this waxing / polishing thing, how long does the liquid waxing part take?
If i get the Meguiars liquid NXT wax... can i rub it everwhere and not worry about the white residue that will be left on the trims / plastics?
i think ill copy what you do for now until the ICE melts away.
Do you do the clay bar before the wax?

i do the clay bar first then wash .
by the way the pics i show u is 2 weeks after i wash my car ,
take ur time and do it rite , u'll like it !!!
ICE is a joke. Like most people have said it keeps it shiny for a day, but it doesnt leave any real protection or shine. Detailing is about getting your car looking good, but its also about protecting your paint. Since Mitsu used crappy paint on our cars id stick to the good stuff even beyond Meguiars (their GC car wash is good and their real top of the line stuff is good, but expensive). If your looking for something that leaves a great shine and protection try Poorboys. Its great for the price and ive been able to get out the small swirls on my car and a few customers cars by hand by using just their polish. Just go to Autogeek.net and read the reviews and read the forums on there. They will help you alot.

Yea I was going to say, your first post was a little mis leading with the order in which you did things.
But like you just recently said; be sure that you do the clay bar before waxing. Clay bar is meant to remove impurities like bug spots, sap and other things that stick to the paint including wax. So like I said, simply put:
Wash
Clay Bar
Wax
^^^^ That alone will take you at least 4 hours.
i went and bought Meguiars NXT wax to use with my ICE products... and now i want to confirm the order of washing / waxing
1) Rinse
2) Clay Bar
3) Wash
4) Wax
5) Polish
Or
1) Rinse
2) Wash
3) Clay Bar .....
And... will the ICE Liquid Polish strip / dissolve the Wax?

I was always under the impression that the car was supposed to be pretty clean before you clay barred. If not, you wind up rubbing/pushing all of the crap into the paint while you are doing it.
^^Here is exactly what I do:
1. Wash using Meguiars soap
2. Dry with Microfiber towels
3. Claybar with Meguiars claybar
4. Wash car again
5. Dry
6. Wax using Meguiars NXT
7. Polish
8. Then everyday when I got the time I would get all the dust and contaminents of the car using Meguiars Speed detailer

ahhh cool.... thats how ill follow it then, except imma be using ICE products
Another quick question... when i was use Meguairs NXT Liquid Wax, Can i wax the hole car at once then wipe off or should i wax in portions? and I dont need a buffer to wax right?
