"EVOLUTION" on valve cover
Anyone notice how the Jap spec Evos have "EVOLUTION" spelled out on the valve cover? I wonder why our cars don't have this? No big deal to me, just curious, thats all.....

probably the same reason J-spec Honda motors have the "H" on the valve cover and american ones don't.... just to be different

only on Evo7, JDM Evo 4,5,6,8 doesn't have it either.

Yea, only the evoVII has it.

Edit: Does anyone know if they sell those valve covers?

I've only seen 1 or 2 sold on Ebay. So you really have to keep an eye out.

One of my evo friend have the "EVOLUTION" cover, I'll try to ask him pic of it.

I know he got it directly from Japan... but from who... no idea...

Theres one on ebay right now. Saw it this morning. I think it still has 3 days left. It was brand new in the box. Was at $250 this morn.
