I have a tarmac black evo and i hate cleaning the car cause it looks nasty as **** the next day. I hate the swirl marks, and the front bumper has a lot of bug marks that i can't remove. What can i do to get ride of the swirl marks? what kinda buffer do I need to buy what kinda pad would you suggest? and what kind of wax to keep it clean?

+1. Hit the entire car with the clay bar. That should get all the bugs and rail dust off. You can go to harbor freight and pick up a polisher for 40 bucks (its what im practicing with, or you can just go all out and get the porter cable 7424 and pads for that) and then get some good polish. I perfer poorboys. You can order it at autogeek.net along with some 8" pads for your polisher.

I just moved from GA and i used to detail a few of the Evo guys cars around the Kennesaw and Atlanta area (check out evoatlanta.com) and i used the poorboys polish by hand along with their EX-P sealant and a good wax and got rid of most of, if not all, of the minor surface swirls by hand. Try that 1st before you go and spend the money on the polisher.

How bad are the swirls? A clay bar will get all your bugs off thats the first step then you have to decided how bad it is for there if it needs to be buffed or not if not some hand glaze and some wax will do the trick.

+1....Swirls may also be coming from how the OP is detailing his car. I would only use a waffle towel to dry and a good clean Microfiber to remove any detailing products.

Thats a good point! I have a black evo everything scratches it a tag on a towel, dirt, dirty shammy. Buy a good microfiber towel and use that to take the wax, or compound off.

A clay bar will not take out the swirl marks it will help remove debris which I would suggest doing every few months. I would highly recommend using the menzerna intensive polish. http://www.properautocare.com/meninpol.html
I've used it before using a Porter Cable 7424 and had great results. Check it out.

Why are people recommending a claybar to remove swirls? People, if you don't know what you're talking about then don't respond. You need to polish or compound out the swirling/marring/holograms with a good rotary, pad, and polish/compound combo. Like someone recommended before. Check our http://autopia.org/forum/ . Just don't use their tutorials. They're written just to market sonus products.
