If Mitsubishi was producing an engine that created soo much heat why in the world didn't they put vents in both generations of their DSMs?

I personally like it, a lot!

His car is very tastefully done, simple and somewhat suttle yet a monsterous sleeper that will both kill most anything on the street and not get much heat from the cops.

Goin off of what EvoKnievo said....Look at the doors.....notice anything different? Look all around the car and look at all the custom fabrication work done on both the exterior and under the hood!

An evo is an evo, someone in this thread hit it on the head-people are almost "demanding" the stock body lines and over agressive heavy body kits- not my taste.

Personally i believe with the hoodvent removed it completes the sleeper look. It makes it look like a completely custom evo, or almost a half year that wasnt produced! (ex a evo 7.5 or 8.5).
With the large opening above the FMIC, where the triangle used to be, that will be sufficent cooling, its right infront of the radiator!
Not to mention the huge FMIC below it, there is a VERY minimal chance of heat being an issue.
Especially factoring in the fact of what Bustedsm mentioned, there are MANY other cars (like eclipses) that run the 4g63 and do NOT have hoodvents. Ive read and been around the dsm world, and havent heard of them having major heating issues....some are running 8 and 7 second quarters!

Personally from the front i think it looks like how the new Audis SHOULD look, especially with the large openings in the front bumper.

From the front looks like a Audi S4 with R8 or the new Audi TT headlights

Actually thats not an original idea or different at all, its just a hood of a evolution 7.5 GT-A, looks quite nice in white!

Btw first post

Just read above its kinda been covered, except it has been produced and it sells in Australia, just my two cents,

Actually, it reflects the heat -- to protect the hood's finish.

i stand corrected, doesn't really make sense that the hoods finish is more important then the engine but ye.
