Winged or Wingless???
On your "new" IX, I'd either buy a new/used trunk lid, or have a body shop fill the holes and spray the lid.
My VIII was 4 years old when I bought it a year ago, so I simply bought some black plastic body fasteners to fill in the holes. If you want to see pics let me know. That way I can put the wing back on when the new new American Autobahn is built. hahaha!

I think the cheaper/better route would be just to fill the holes and have them color matched, but that's just my guess
Anyone know how much that would cost to have done?
And yea, I'd like to see those pics
Not if the lid was from a Lancer ES or from an IX EVO RS.
And speaking of...

Here are some close ups of how you might fill in the holes left in the trunk lid. I used some black plastic body panel fasteners. I had to cut them shorter and they are held in by a little bit of clear silicone under the "head".

I think the Apex Silver EVOs have a very unique "industrial" look that I really like. The black "rivets" kind of fit with the "industrial" look, IMNSHO.
