yea, i've been told the carbon fiber hoods sometimes get yellowish after awhile. I hope mine doesnt do that, but only time will tell i guess. I've only had the hood on for a little over a month now.

So the CF hood weighs how much vs. the stock hood -- most I have seen are heavier (I believe Seibon is less than 1 pound lighter)?? Why go this route if you are covering the CF look? Wouldn't it be better to just stick with the stock hood?

Yes you get a B+ for creativity, I just don't understand the purpose....

I hate to say it... but its shade off.. you will never find a vinyl no matter what that matches exactly, pearl shade everything. From a distance I'm sure it looks good. Good effort!!! I run a vinyl shop. Im not hating I just wish it were possible. I would love to do the same to my WW but the whites are always off shades.

I also can match White or Black evos too. My friends seem to really like how it looks now.

Its almost a dead on match.... slightly off... you really cant tell though . Its very very very close. Its got the same metallic flake in it as the paint does.
No, the engine heat does not melt it at all.
The Seibon hood is a lot lighter than the stock hood. I also notice that it helps the engine cool better, it has better venting on it than the stock hood.

Only problem i had is the holes for the pissers were off.. Seibon made the holes too small. When i went to install the washer pissers in there they didnt fit. I had to trace the old holes in the stock hood then carve out the holes in the Seibon with an X-acto knife to make it a bit wider and longer.

I'm not sure if the red i have matches the rally Red Evos . I'll check that .
