i have had a vortex generator lying around for some while, a friend gave it to me and i just never put it on, do i have to take those side moldings off the roof or what?

pop the trunk and pop up the moldings going up the rear window to the VG spot, put your double-sided tape on and slip the edges of the VG under where the molding goes, re-hook on the molding

done

i am also a little worried about the paint on the roof, is the vg going to rub constantly and rub the paint.

this is also a good question it sounds so easy but the moldings just pop right back in place? or is any adhesive needed to have them sit back down?
