What is the difference between the vortex genertor sold by rexpeed and the original came with the MR version?
I want to buy one but i saw a lot of different prices.
I have a EVO 8 RS version no rear spoiler, someone know where can i find the Stock Rear spoiler, it's made of carbon fiber right, i want to buy one.

VG: ones sold by rexpeed is pretty much the same as the oem ones that came with MR. I mean, I can't tell no difference.
Spoiler: you should find someone with spoiler and like the wingless look and just trade truck w/that person. win-win

 

i can tell no difference. considering how much cheaper rexpeed is, you can't lose. here's my rexpeed color-matched to TB.

 

if want a you want a stock spoiler switch trunks with someone. Your Rs has no holes and many people wanna switch trunks and go wingless. and its easy to do.

 

id jus go with the oem vortex genrator...you save about 100 dollars instead of goin wit rexspeed ( i dont really its worth $210 ).............jus my opinion

 

I don't know who's trying to sell you a Rexpeed VG for $200, but on the websites its only $89.

I think there was someone in the fs exterior/interior with RR looking to trade for spoilerless trunk. I dunno hope this helps, oh and I have a rexspeed VG. If you're really picky then the go with the OEM. Mine has little dimples in it like its not smooth when you look from the side of it. You can tell its not smooth. I'll try get a good picture for you. I don't care I'm not that picky when I got mine for less then what rexspeed was sellingi t for. Dosen't bother me any.

Thanx for the replies, now that i know there is no difference at all, i will buy it from rexpeed, i`m not really picky so rexpeed is my choice.
About the rear spoiler there is no other way just trade the trunk? can i buy it from mitsubishi genius part, does someone know the OEM part number of the spoiler.

I just installed my speed element vortex generator. Nice fitment, and other than being flat black, and my car is TB. I can't tell it's not OEM...

I got the TB Rexspeed VG also, and fitment was great. Tested it going to Nopi at 130mph and it stuck great! Comes with plenty of double-sided 3M sticky tape.
