It'll look stupid. Paint the roof black and get a C/F hood and trunk if you really want the look. Painting the hood and trunk black will make you a poser (trying to get the C/F look.

 

Two-Tone has been a huge trend on the older muscle scene of late. (like the last 2-3 years)

I like it. It looks clean, and it breaks up the body so it's not just a solid blob.

 

I painted my hood,roof,trunk and pillars all black...kinda the panda look going....

i personally love it,cf is played out IMHO,gloss black looks good to me.

Roof from AMS-$1200
hood-about $550-$800 depending on brand
trunk-same as hood.

plus roof install wouldnt be cheap

this is the same paint scheme i got going on.but my whole hood is black.i was thinking of going lower with the black but well see.maybe just repaint and go black roof only

 

i have seen silverstreaks car in person many times. and it is sweet. he gets so many comments on his car it makes me sic. maybe i am jealous. but i really like the paint he has going on on his car.

 

I like the two tone. Just do some photoshop of it first to see what lines, route you want to go with the hood! Looks Nice!
