I have a apex silver evo8 was thinking of painting the hood roof and the trunk all black. I am not going to do it myself but was woundering what every body else thought about it? Or if any one has seen this before what did you think of it?

 

Paint the rest of the car white, pandas are sick in my opinion.

 

Go carbon fiber.

Yea i want to go all white and paint the hood,roof,and trunk black but i dont want to drop 4-5k. So i think i will keep it silver and do the same to it would carbon fiber be cheaper or just painting it.

 

If you did the hood, roof, and trunk in carbon I would say that is sick. If you paint it black I would say you are someone who wants it all to be carbon but cant afford it. And that is straight rice.

Dam that looks really good i don't think u can do the roof in carbon can you?? i am going to get the hood probaly carbon and maybe the trunk and then paint the roof. How would that look

 

Yeah I think ams sells a carbon roof. To answer your question, its a matter of taste, but I think the top of the car (hood/roof/trunk) should all match. But the carbon roof will cost a grip. Just paint them man I think it will be fine. And no fitment issues or fading clearcoat issues with the carbon peices. Besides TOO many people have carbon.

 

Yea ur right it fades over time and the fitment always sucks. I think i'm just going to paint them thanks a lot

 

if you painted the roof, hood and trunk black its prob cost 4k and if your thinking of a carbon roof,hood and trunk its prob close to 4k aswell. i work for a bodyshop and taking a roof of is a huge job,and even if your stock roof is fine theres really no need,but if you have money to play with f-it

 

just stay all silver,its the best looking evo color anyway...

Black roof's are very euro, I like em.

I don't know bout painting hte hood black though. The kid who owned my car before me painted his front, rear and skirts black and it looks ****ing stupid.

 

Painting your roof hood and trunk will cost you $600 - $800 AT MOST.

Getting a C/F hood, trunk and roof would cost $1700 - $2000.

Don't pull numbers out of your ***.
