update: put a little pic of my daily driver on here for the heck of it.

Why get a 7 wing when the 8 looks so much better and better for performance too.

 

it is the evo 7 style wing. i don't think it is oe but it is adjustable. the dealership i got the car from thought it needed a wing and they put it on to get more lookers.
i didn't care one way or another. i've thought of taking it off but, i'm going to wait until i get my 7 hood and front bumper. so yea it was on there when i got it and i don't think the holes line up for the 8.

 

dammit....that wing is out of place. now if you get a 7 hood, front, and JDM 7/8 rear, that would be badass

 

waiting on a guy to let me know how much the 7 front end will be but I'm gonna keep the 9 rear. As played out as the jdm 9 is, i live in a one evo town. The mullets in my town think its a hopped Honda. For some reason i really like the wingless look but i want the front end on first before i decide.

well if you've got the responsibility to rep EVO's, do it right. EVO 8 wing, EVO 8/9 front bumper to match the rear. 7 front end with a 9 rear end but a 7 wing...just too much going on for one car. pick a generation and go with it. personally i don't like the 7 wing on anything but a 7.

 

in the end it will look just like a 7 with a 9 rear. to me it's no different than an 8 sporting the jdm 9 rear. but i change my mind all the time i have had the car since january and i am waiting on my fourth set of wheels. to hard to decide and hard on the wallet. just do what i can on my factory wage. there is a thread on here called evo 7 from across the pond and that is my favorite evo thats what i draw my inspiration from. only he has the c west front bumper on his 7. the one thing i know for sure is the 8 front has to go. it has a ding in it from the previous owner and i dont think body filler is a good idea. alot of people go forward in the year design i just thought i would be a little different. in a perfect world i drive an evo 6 but that isn't going to happen. anyway sorry to ramble. it's always good to hear others ideas. thanks
