Best Wax WITH UV Protection?

Anyone know what wax will also provide UV protection? I have some carbon fiber parts and I was told by my body shop that car wax doesn't protect carbon fiber because most CF damage is due to UV light. Anyone with recommendations?

All waxes protect, it's a matter of staying on top of applying it often enough!

But, to give you some goods ones as far as protection,....

-Collinite 845
-FK1 #2180 Sealant
-Poorboy's World EX-P
-Zaino Z2 Pro

Notice how these are all actually sealants....canuba waxes protect but not for as long,a nd I'm going to assume you are prone to want to work less and benfit more (opputunity/cost), so get one of those.

I'm surprised to not see any of the popular names such as Meguiars on that list...

Mitch has probably never had a Dirty car in his adult life. LOL

I would be ashamed to let him ride in my car. I have yet to vaccum it in 5 months. The outside is pristine though!!

You should see the car right now . The days of me keeping my car clean constantly were days of me not working as much as I do now .

First full detail coming up though....I'm excited to say the least.

If its a daily driver ditch the wax. Jeff Werkstatt's Acrylic Jett is the best sealant I've used personally. I've used Collinite 845, Zaino Z5, Duragloss 105, and JW was the best looking on my tb with great durability.

I'm tempted to drive to Chi-town and let Mitch school me on how to make cheap Mits paint shine.

Cool, so I guess I'll get the Zaino one then. Any recommendations on what steps I should take in washing/waxing/shining/etc. my car, Mitch or anyone else? I just got my Evo about five months ago. Right now, the steps I take are:

Exterior -
1) Rinse with water
2) Clean with a Meguiars Gold Class Car Wash
3) Clean tires with the same car wash stuff
3) Dry
4) Wax on and off with Meguiars Gold Class Liquid Wax
5) Put Rain-X on all the windows
6) Spray Armor All Tire Foam onto the tires
Interior -
1) Clean with Meguiars Leather Cleaner and Conditioner
2) Clean the dashboard area with Armor All

First off if you want full UV protection and stuff like bird crap etc. You need a sealant! I can give you more information on a jet sealant that i use that is mainly used for jets and other shuttles. This stuff will protect and provide a nice deep look. For the dashboard i would change armor all to 303 aerospray. And when you wash your car make sure you start from top to bottom. SInce your car is all wheel drive most dirt and etc are on the bottom. So you dont want to bring most dirt from bottom up. I know you get what i mean. If you need any more help on anything just ask.

Does anyone recommend mothers or meguires stuff? Pretty much the over the counter stuff you can get at your local auto store.
