WW IX RS finally pics with wheels and KW's

I think that's the height I'm settling on, though the front might come down a little more.
Liked the look of the rear in following pics but it was a little too low and rubbed over bumps and launching(though I did end up rolling the rears some more after that...so I could run that height and not rub now).

Before anyone asks...yes the car has lots of flaws...it went through alot of crap in the first couple months of it's life...1) Rear-ended by a guy riding a wheelie on a motorcycle, which scratched the bumper and pushed it into the exhaust...bending the exhaust and causing the bumper to burn etc 2) APR CF splitter...bolts holding the support rods to the splitter backed-out at 160mph, destroying not only the splitter but also ripped off the stock lip, 3) someone backed into the front bumper...hit and run 4) someone sideswipped the passenger side of the front bumper 5) I hit a few cones going off track at a HPDE, causing some scratches on the passenger side.
Oh and both rear fenders a messed up from rolling them. Will be getting Voltex fenders next spring.

Oh and just for fun, my previous track car:

Had an APR stg3 turbo kit, made 308whp at it's best and was down to less than 2400 pounds at it's lightest...loud as hell, 3" Burns stainless side exit, no muffler, no cat no resonator.

i can see your vw tuning philosophy carrying over to the evo

leave the streched tires for your vw,

raise your car a bit and put on wider tires

Right. You mean since I'm the only one on EvoM running 255/35's on 18x9.5s?

Actually when these wear out I will go to something wider since I'll be getting wider front and rear fenders. Probably a 275 or 285

Your car look WAAAAYYYY too low. I'd recommend raising it up a bit for handling. If it's just for looks your current ride height is fine. Nice car regardless.

Agreed. It's fine for now, but when the tracks open up again in the spring I will raise it up some. Cant wait to hit some more track days, driver schools etc.

Too bad about the accidents, but I don't understand **** retentive freaks. It's a car and shiite happens. It adds character.
