hey, i was curious as to what parts you actually get in the $70 mounting kit. if someone could tell me that'd be great!

I just put one in my car, you get a new lower dash piece, that replaces the map pocked. It is a full din opening. I moved my radio there, and installed a boost gauge & turbo time in the above slot.. Plus the radio is much eaiser to access down low, you can rest you hand on the shifter and change the stations..

Ohh, you also get nut/bolts hardware and 2 brackets to mount the in-dash changer, or to relocate the radio.

 

Ok thanks! So i take it the original "cubby hole" hole isnt the right shape/size for the radio? And thats whats jotting up the price??

I am wanting to swap the position of radio and gauges as well. Was the wiring harness for radio and antena wire long enough to stretch down? Any suggestions would be great.

 

yeah, they should be... several peeps on here have done the relocation...
