Rock them tow hooks!
THANK U!!! finally I was just about to say that. The whole thing about Hondas having tow hook for show is not completely true
. Some Honda guys slam their cars to the ground so how is that chain or towing rope getting under the car? also the stuff that the tow truck uses to get ur car on to a flat bed will rub against the front bumper when lowered. im pretty sure u don't want to mess up ur paint.......right???.
if you dont like the look of the tow hooks, then dont put them on your car
sadly the "ricers" have slowly taken over many trends that are actually functional
but denying something that is functional because some retarded high schooler thinks its cool is a pretty dumb concept...of course if you like messing up your bumper when being towed and/or not complying with track rules then by all means leave the tow hooks to the "ricers"

2. If your car was lowered and used the tow hooks, it will scrap the front bumper anyway because of the angle of the flatbed ramp.
1. If you were to crash into a ditch, more than likely you drivetrain or chassis if f*^%up anyway and I don't think those tow hooks are strong enough to pull the car out of a ditch. They are just ment to pull the car along an even road.

I can't imagine installing a tow hook for a car that doesn't see frequent track duty, but anyhow, if you are going to add one (or two), make sure you check out the rules of the organizations that you run with. Having one like what is pictured above that sticks out is a no-no under the latest rules. You want it to be hinged, retractable, or otherwise designed so that it doesn't stick out like that. Check the rules for specifics.
In Sao Paulo, Brazil people put trailer hitches on everything.... i mean everything.. toyota corollas... honda fits... little 1.2L hatchbacks.. for that reason..
People will rear end you and steal your car when you get out to look.. or they will just push you through traffic when you are too slow.. Trailer hitches prevent that..
