alright, so tarmac black has the purple and the blue chips in it. and its frustrating. i have seen a lot of pictures where you cant see the purple and blue. is there a way of buffing or waxing that will get rid of those, or is it just that they arent showing up in the pictures?

Nope.... sometimes you see it sometimes you don't. I will say this... my 06 shows purple/blue a hell of alot more than my 03 did.

I like it.

BTW the guy that asked if you can remove the pearl....ummm no you can't remove the pearl unless you plan on repainting your whole car. The pearl is in the paint. All of the people that you can't see the pearl means that they shot their car in non sunny weather, or their car was dirty.

certain waxs will mute the metallic flake in the paint. Slightly and some waxs will make it more obvious.

I actually like the purple. It's different than the standard Honda black with the green, blue and purple flakes.

It's not a metal flake.... it more of a chameleon blend.
