I've been reading this in other threads and yes I searched all of them out and re-read them. I want to swap my antenna for a smaller antenna BUT I only want to screw on the antenna shaft and not have to replace anything else like the base or cable.

Does the Honda S2000 antenna shaft only fit? I read in another thread that the taper doesn't match the EVO base. Has anyone swapped in JUST the antenna shaft?? If so which antenna and photos would be great.

At least i know the 02 model antenna fits

 

I hate the look of the stock one.. tooo vw bug for my taste. The s2k one fits fine, a bit of difference at the base but nothing you'll notice all that much.

Thanks...the long one whacks my garage door so I wanted to swap but not if tha taper is wrong or thr reception is crappy..

 

Do we know if the smaller Fubu fits or how it affects reception....price-wise it's close.

 

You'll barely be able to notice anything wrong with the S2000 antenna, it matches almost perfectly.

Someone told me to try the H2 antenna. He said in another thread it matches seamlessly. I seen one today and thought about going to the nearest dealer and checking out for my self.

 

Let us know on the H2 antenna if you check it out..

 

Got my S2000/Element Antenna today and it almost fits like a glove. I love it!
