foil reflects heat..

on the exhaust side of the motor, we use swaintech to keep the heat in for energy!

well, more news....

We may be installing some different doors on the car in the next few days trying to cut some weight...

and Stoptech is now supplying us with their newest brake kit, which is still a few weeks out....

some other little developments....

we have enlisted JM fabrications to do some seat rail and cage work for us, and maybe some new piping

coming together quickly now

testing will begin in late feb

Yoikes, quite the droolworthy combination of parts you've got going there! What I wouldn't do for a widebody, huge R comps and some Motons!!!

Very curious why you guys went for a 2.3 and not a 2.1, 2.2 or destroked 2.4...guessing that this thing is going to be quite a torque beast...or perhaps built so well that, with the addition of some custom turbo trickery, that rpm range won't be a problem? A 2.3 that could rev all the way up...now that could be very interesting indeed.

What scares me most about this car is that you guys have shown us alot of the motor and not the final chassis build yet...which to me means that the power is relatively inconsequential and there could be some very interesting aero/suspension stuff in the works. I've seen the HKS CT230 up close in Malaysia and I gotta say that in fact that's where their big secret weapon lies as well! That and their super sticky limited edition Advans of course, heheheh.

In short - if I'm guessing right and this thing handles even better than the power that that awesome motor build suggests then I reckon we're looking at some pretty serious potential here.

Just got a nice set of 265 g-force R1s so will be hitting the track again here soon...hope you guys don't mind if I bug you in a few months for some of the production bits you'll be making as a result of all this R&D. That radiator, those hella sweet custom headers (BBK + CBRD header combo anyone?), that big intake mani and underbody aero bits are all looking interesting for a start....not to mention any custom suspension bits that may be coming (Nagisa Auto style stuff perhaps?).

Good luck, will be keeping an eye out for when this thing starts hitting the track in Feb. Good vibes, oh yesss.

I think the manifold is from Full-Race and in the intake manifold is from Driven Innovations.

yep you are correct jason!!

full race manifold (ets also built us one T4 open scroll) and we will be doing something custom to test also (larger primary twinscroll)..

the fmic, piping, dump tubes, o2 housing, turboback, etc are all cbrd one-offs

both wastegates dump back in

Curious if you guys will be running super low and using full on Cyber Evo style underbody aero or not? And if you're super low, how will you mitigate roll centre issues?

Curious because I haven't seen many US T/A Evos running super low yet, and apparently/supposedly our cars' suspension doesn't like to be too low....yet the Japanese guys seem to manage to go pretty quick with ground scraping bodyparts.
