those smoked tails actually look good on your Black Evo8... It looks like titanium altezzas... Hehe... But i would say Evo7 tails.. Really looks JDM!.. And at first, i thought it was an Evo7... Without lookin at the bumper...

 

I just hate hearing "oh, I see you've already put the clear lights on it".

 

But to answer your question, I like them both but the red looks better IMO...

 

 

I like the originals especially on Tarmac. In PA if you get a DARE plate they look even better. It's a black license plate with white lettering and a red logo so it makes the ALteeza's look nice.

 

i like the OEM's on the black, makes it look more clean. The red VII's look foggy on the sharp black. But whatever you like they both are great!

The 7's make the car look clean... You get nothing but stupid comments from the Evo uneducated older and Domestic crowds with the clears... I just happen to fit into the older segment...

 

why do everyone say JDM taillights. Our ugly Altezza Evo 8 taillights ARE JDM. Evo 8 in Japan has the same exact lights. It's just that Evo 7 lights look nicer. Personally, I rather keep the ugly lights or smoke them like EvoJimbo since it makes my car a true evo 8

i've decided to run the reds for now... they look really nice on the black... if i had any color other than black or blue, i would stick with the clears...

 

The JDM EVO VII & VIII come with red tails that's why the red ones are referred to as "JDM."

I like the smoked OEM tails on the black. I wonder what they'd look like on apex silver.

 

You are wrong. The Evo VIII has clears in Japan also. Also, the Evo VII GTA has clear tail lights. There were a good amount of European/Japanese that liked the clears from the GTA ....so made them clear for the world.
