EVO VII looks better.....or jsut smoke out the Altezzas like mine.

 

I don't usually like Altezzas. But if they are OEM .. they usually look okay... I don't mind them on the EVO VIII

 

Well honestly i like the look of both.... I would probably switch them up every one in a while just to have something different

 

When I first put my Evo 7 tails on, my gf say she like the OEM ones better. But the more I look at the Evo 7 tails, the more I like them better than the OEM.

 

How did you smoke the factory tail lights? I was thinking of just rattle-can coating mine red. (just joking)

i really think you should stick with the oem lights, and sell me your 7 tails. I'd be happy to take them off your hands for you.

I am up in the air too.
I think you get so used to the clears that the reds look to red.
That's why I haven't changed them yet. I think part of the problem is the altezzas have been ruined by thier popularity.
You can get them for just about anything now.
Funny though, they still look right on the Lexus because they are OEM and we are all used to that look. Since they are OEM and not a cheap car it is not the same as throwing them on a Chevy Chevette

Try driving with one of each for awhile and then swap sides, really freak people out.

i like the stock antenna... liked 'em way back in the day when VW started utilizing them...

and i'm not one of the sheep that HAS to do what everyone else does...

 

The OEM looks ok being its original tail lights, but the VII's looks really better. It makes your Evo JDM. Keep both so you can change them when ever you want.

 

That's why you got the Evo VII lights then?

heh, i think the altezza looks good. but the VII also has it's upside.

no... i've always hated Altezza...

i used to drive a Civic Si, and you know how the ricers just loved to throw them *****es on...

there just seems to be a "stigma" attached to clear tails...

 

On a Tarmac 8 I think the 7 tails look a lot nicer. I think on the lightning's/apex's the OE 8's look pretty good. I'll still eventually go with the 7's to go for the JDM points, but I think the yellows can get away with the OE 8 tails. JMO
